================================================================================ HILL VALLEY SALES GROUP AGENCY PROFILE ================================================================================ WHO WE ARE -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Hill Valley Sales Group is an independent manufacturers' rep agency serving the heavy-duty truck parts aftermarket across the Midwest. Founded in 2012, we now carry six principal lines and run a team of five field reps plus one inside coordinator out of our Hill Valley, Illinois office. We don't manufacture anything and we don't warehouse inventory — our job is relationships, product knowledge, and being the rep who actually shows up. Fourteen years in, most of our accounts have been with us the whole time. LINES & TERRITORY -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Six principals on the line card, covering suspension & steering, brake friction, lighting & electrical, filtration, drivetrain, and cargo control. Territory is Illinois, Indiana, Ohio, Michigan, and Wisconsin. Flagship line is DeLorean Suspension Systems — Dr. Emmett "Doc" Brown's outfit — which we've carried since our second year in business and which still accounts for roughly a third of our commission book. Full detail on every principal, including target attention share and contract renewal timing, is in HillValley_Line_Card.csv. CUSTOMERS & CHANNEL -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Our accounts fall into four buckets: warehouse distributors, buying-group members, private and municipal fleets, and truck dealers. Roughly twenty active accounts across the five-state territory at any given time, ranging from single-location counter shops to multi-location buying groups. We sell through relationships built over years of counter days, in-shop demos, and showing up when something's on backorder somewhere else. HOW WE WIN -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- We win the accounts that value a rep who actually walks the shop floor. Our reps run counter days, product demos, and trade-show coverage (Midwest Trucking Expo is our biggest annual push), and we lean hard on being the agency that can explain a warranty claim, chase a backorder, or run a demo on short notice. We are not the cheapest option on every line — our pitch is that we're the rep who's actually in the building. REPORTING COMMITMENTS -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Each principal sets its own reporting cadence — see Report_Cadence_Required in HillValley_Line_Card.csv. In practice, written reporting happens consistently on maybe half our lines; the rest gets covered verbally or not at all because compiling it from scattered notes takes more time than anyone has. That gap is exactly what field-notes capture and quick reporting tools are meant to close. CURRENT PRIORITIES -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 1. Rebuild trust on the Clocktower Lighting & Electrical line — attention has fallen well behind target since the wiring harness recall last fall, and Clocktower's contract renewal is coming up within sixty days. 2. Defend the Flux Brake & Friction line at Cattleman's Fleet Group against price pressure from a competing brand before the account erodes further. 3. Push Enchantment Filtration on their fill-rate problem before it costs us Interstate Buying Group — this is a supply issue on their end, not a selling issue on ours, and it needs to be escalated as such. 4. Keep the DeLorean Suspension Systems momentum going — the Statler Truck Parts win and the spring rebate season are proof the line-card approach works when reps stay consistent. ================================================================================
