HILL VALLEY SALES GROUP — RAW VOICE MEMO TRANSCRIPTS
(unstructured, dictated in the truck or right after a visit — not cleaned up)

MEMO 1 — Marty Kessler — May 12, 2026, 4:47 PM
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Okay so, big one, I gotta get this down before I forget the details. Statler
just placed their first order on the DeLorean line. First order. Twenty-four
leveling kits, twelve coilover kits, for member store stock. And I'm sitting
here thinking back to January, like, that first meeting with their buying
committee, it was just, it was a cold intro basically, they didn't carry a
leveling kit line at all and members kept asking and nobody had brought them
anything real, just catalogs and slide decks apparently. So I brought the
actual demo unit in February, let their store managers handle it, and one guy
said flat out that was the first vendor demo all year that showed the part
instead of a screen. That stuck with me. Then pricing, then the spec-in vote
in April, and their buyer told me — I wrote this down after the call — she
said nobody else brought them a part to touch, everybody else brought them a
slide. That's, I mean, that's the whole ballgame right there. Set up the
counter display first week of May like I said I would, and now, four months
later, we've got a PO. Four months, intro to first order. Feels really good
honestly. Gonna keep pushing the rebate angle with them into summer too since
the timing lines up so well.

Hey it's Lorraine, doing my end-of-day notes in the car. Two things today,
kind of unrelated but both worth flagging. First, Marlin Fleet Services — the
demo I ran back in April on the steering stabilizer kit, the maintenance lead
is taking it to their ownership group, so that's still moving, slower than
I'd like but moving, no order yet though, want to keep an eye on that one
because it's been a few weeks since I heard anything and I should probably
check in again before it goes cold. And then completely separate, I stopped
at Amber Valley Truck Center today and actually worked the Clocktower line
with their service writer, which, I don't think anybody else on the team has
touched that line in weeks, maybe longer, and I get why, with the whole
recall thing from last fall everybody's a little gun shy, but somebody has to
work it or we're gonna lose that whole relationship with Clocktower and I
don't think that's fair to them, the recall wasn't even that big a deal in
the end. Anyway got a small restock order out of it so that's something.
Kind of feel like I'm the only one really carrying that line right now,
which, I don't love that, we should talk about it as a team.

MEMO 3 — George Milburn — April 16, 2026, 5:52 PM
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Uh, hey, quick one, long day. Northgate wants pricing on the cargo strap
assortment, told them I'd get back to them next week, need to actually put
that on my list because I feel like I said something similar to somebody else
recently and I don't remember if I ever closed that loop, might've been
Crestview, might've been the filtration thing, I don't totally remember, I
should probably start writing this stuff down better instead of just telling
people "next week" and then, you know, life happens. Also stopped by like
four other places today, nothing major, everybody's fine, nobody needs
anything urgent. I'll sort out my open items this weekend. Probably.

MEMO 4 — Jennifer Osorio — May 7, 2026, 3:20 PM
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Notes from Cattleman's. Okay so this is the one I flagged back in February,
the competitor brake pad situation, Ironhide I think it was, running about
twelve percent under our number on the Flux line. They ran a side-by-side
test on two trucks back then and I guess it went fine on their end because
today they cut the order in half. Not a quality complaint, fleet manager was
pretty upfront about that, it's purely a budget decision on their part. But
half the order is half the order, that's real dollars, and if we don't get a
pricing response together before fall I think we lose more of it, not less.
I want to pull the last six months of their ordering pattern and see exactly
how much is actually at risk here before I go back to management with a
number, because I don't want to walk in there with a guess.

MEMO 5 — Dave Strickland — March 18, 2026, 7:03 PM
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Sentinel asked me today why nobody's been out to see them about the new
Clocktower headlamp assemblies. And I just told them straight, because that's
the only way I know how to do it — most of us have been steering clear of
that line since the wiring harness recall last fall. Nobody wants to be the
one standing there explaining a warranty claim on a product that already
burned a customer once. That's the honest answer. But sitting here now I
think that's actually a problem, not an excuse, because if we keep avoiding
it we're going to hand Clocktower a reason not to renew with us, and that
contract's coming up. Somebody needs to make a call on this, either we
commit to working the line hard again or we tell Clocktower straight what
happened and why. Half-avoiding it all year isn't a strategy.

Just logging today's phone traffic before I forget. Had a call in from
Interstate Buying Group, purchasing lead again, still upset about the
Enchantment fill rate, said it's been under eighty percent two months
running now and their members are asking about switching filtration
suppliers. I told her I'd flag it for the field team, which I am doing right
now with this memo, so — flagged. Also had a routine reorder call and a
general product question, nothing notable there. But the Interstate thing
feels like it's past the point where a phone apology is going to hold it,
somebody needs to get in front of Enchantment directly about their supply
problem, this isn't really something we can fix from our end and I think
saying "sorry" one more time isn't going to buy us much more patience from
them.
